Paul Riccabona, CPA

Professional History and Focus
Paul Riccabona graduated from San Jose State University in 2003 with a B.S. in Business with an emphasis in Accounting. He immediately landed a job at Stamper Capital and Investments as a financial analyst. Paul moved into the accounting world in 2005 with a job as a staff accountant for Hutchinson and Bloodgood LLP. Paul excelled at bookkeeping and managing small business clients along with individual and business tax preparation. Paul continued to improve his skills and develop relationships in the business community.

Paul merged with Codiga and Associates, Inc. in 2008 and received his CPA license in 2009. Paul joined Meisser and Seales LLP in 2011 and started on the path to becoming a partner. He achieved his goal in 2016 becoming a partner at Meisser Seales Riccabona LLP. Paul has continued to strengthen his tax and accounting skills offering in-depth tax planning and analysis for his clients. Paul joined up with Kari McGee to form Riccabona and McGee LLP at the end of 2019. Paul has developed expertise in several industries such as construction, restaurants, real estate, and the cannabis industry. Paul provides tax and consulting services for all his clients throughout central and Northern California. He especially enjoys S-Corporations and Partnership accounting and tax support.

Kari McGee, CPA

Professional History and FocusKari McGee graduated from Sonoma State University in 1995 with a B.S. in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Accounting. After graduating she returned to her home state of Missouri where she began to work at the local accounting firm of Roberts, McKenzie, Mangan & Cummings where she specialized in the construction industry. During this time, she also completed the National Tax Education Program co-sponsored by the AICPA and the University of Illinois. In 2003 Kari moved back to California and joined the Watsonville office of Hutchinson and Bloodgood where she served clients for over fifteen years, the last ten as a partner. To best serve her clients, in the fall of 2019 she decided to co-create Riccabona and McGee, LLP. Kari provides tax solutions to a diverse list of clients ranging from small sole proprietors to large, multi-million dollar corporations. She has developed an expertise, and especially enjoys working in the Construction and Real Estate industries, along with family and closely held businesses.

George Grass

Office Manager

George started working with Paul in 2018 while earning his A.S in Accounting from Cabrillo College. Since the inception of our firm George has worked as the office manager, overseeing daily operations and working with each client individually to ensure we have not only achieved client goals, but exceeded them. An expert in communication, George is perceptive and will treat your concerns with professional discretion.
